Notchbase is a macOS application developed by Notchbase. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.

Information We Do Not Collect

Notchbase does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no internet connection of its own.

No account or sign-up required
No usage data is sent anywhere
No crash reports are collected
No advertising identifiers are used

What the App Accesses Locally

Notchbase accesses the following data only on your device to provide its features. None of this leaves your Mac.

Media playback information — to display the currently playing song and allow controls
Clipboard contents — to display your clipboard history in the panel. This is never sent anywhere.
System stats — CPU, RAM, and network usage are read locally to display in the panel
Camera — only if you open the Camera tab; the feed is displayed on-screen only and never recorded or transmitted
Microphone indicator — Notchbase detects if an app is using your microphone to show a status indicator, but does not record audio
Wi-Fi state — to display and toggle your Wi-Fi connection
Frontmost application — to apply theme colours based on the active app

Third-Party Services

Notchbase uses Stripe to process payments. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the purchase process. Notchbase itself never sees or stores your payment details. You can read Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

The Notchbase website may use basic analytics provided by Netlify (page views only). No personal information is collected.

Children's Privacy

Notchbase is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
